We both met working at Elektricity in the winter of 2015. Alana was a bartender and Alex, as the resident videographer. At the time, we both were two broke kids trying to make our way. Looking back, true love was right where we least expected it.

We joke the reason we even started talking is because of Star Wars, but let’s be honest… we brought balance to the force.

Alex proposed at one of Alana’s favorite places, Greenfield Village, during a cold but magical event, Holiday Nights. Throughout a night of caroling and spiked hot cocoa, Alex was snapping photos (which he always does) and towards the end of the night, he wanted a photo together. Alex set up his tripod and camera and after a few poses, Alex got down on one knee and asked: “Will you be with me forever?” If you haven’t figured it out by now, of course, she said yes! We are excited for everyone to be with us on this special day.
