How did a Bahraini woman met a French man in a small island in the middle-east? We wondered the same. We met in November, in the year 2021 at Trader Vic's. Malak was hesitant at first to come, she was wearing a grey hoodie jacket and believed that she was extremely underdressed. Overcoming her fashion let-down, she ended up going, and, little did she know that that was start of something new (which feel so right, to be here with you, oh oh). Interesting chat was filling the air, the night ended on a great feeling. Days, weeks, have undergone with barely to none contact, and we didn't even know if we were going to see each other again. Until that dinner at Cicos where here he was again. That night, a nexus event started a new branch in the reality timeline. Over a discussion about hospitality, Yoann got the crazy wonderful idea to challenge Malak to work for a day at Yoann's restaurant. Ever since then, Malak felt that she wants to see Yoann more and more. But, after a half day of Malak experiencing Hospitality, Yoann was busy and did't think past 'She's cute, but the not greatest employee'. On a random day, random text, random conversation, we reconnected, and decided to go for a movie. After the movie, there was a dinner and another movie. After another movie, there was an official dinner date. After the date, well.. the rest is history.
