Masks and proof of vaccination is no longer required per WA governor’s new guidelines. Masks must still be work in a few places such as public transit, Uber/Lyft, and healthcare facilities. Some restaurants, bars, and retailers may have their own policies and mask requirements. (The mandate was recently lifted so we can’t yet speak to how many individual businesses are keeping their mask/vaccination policies, but the few places we’ve been haven’t required masks for guests.) We recommend having a mask with you and a photo of your vaccination card on your phone as you move through the city in case it is needed. Our wedding venue is no longer requiring masks, although we welcome everyone to do what they are most comfortable with and wear a mask when not eating or drinking if that is your preference. For more information on the current local COVID-19 guidance, you can review the King County website: kingcounty.gov/covid/current
Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service may be the easiest option, especially if staying close by in a nearby neighborhood. Street parking is available and free after 6pm (so once parked only need to fill the meter until it reaches 6:00pm). There are several lots and garages in the Pioneer Square neighborhood as well. The closest parking lot is directly across 1st Ave from AXIS, as well as one right around the corner on 2nd and Main St. Other lots and garages and their rates may be found at downtownseattleparking.com.
We have invited several families with infants/children invited to the wedding. Please note that they are more than welcome, but also that we don't have any special activities/childcare for them and plan accordingly. If you need a highchair, booster seat, or any other special equipment please let us know.
