Accomodation

Given the potential size of the wedding party, we have chosen DECAMERON AQUARIUM. This is so we can be together, it's also practical as it is walking distance from the town and as a bonus we get access to their other resorts across the island. Also, its all-inclusive so less decisions, more holiday. We have booked from Sunday 13th April to Thursday 17th April. We invite you all to do the same, or for longer or shorter stays. If you are coming to San Andres we also really request you stay at Decameron Aquarium (and nowhere else, not even the other Decamerons). This is because Decameron doesn’t let non-guests use their facilities unfortunately and we want everyone to be together. The approximate price is £110 per adult and £55 child per night for accommodation, food, alcohol and some entertainment/activities based on two adults sharing a room.

Flights

We would highly recommend booking flights sooner rather than later as they are likely to get more and more expensive given we are going in high season. Viajala is a great website for comparing flight times and prices specifically for Colombia domestic flights. https://viajala.com.co/ Feel free to book flights that work best for you. FYI we are flying to San Andres on Sunday 13th in the morning and then back to Bogotá on Thursday 17th in the early afternoon. Decameron also offers packages with flights and accommodation. Just be careful to check the times and luggage allowances. One final item to bear in mind. San Andrés has a tourist tax of approx. $30 USD that every person aged 7+ must pay on arrival. It goes towards supporting investment in infrastructure on the island.

In summary

We totally understand that for a number of reasons it won't be possible for everyone to make it, don’t worry, we’ll continue to love you all the same.
