Travel Note

Hotels and Accommodations

Estes Park is a very popular vacation destination. There are all sorts of hotels and vacation rental options, however they fill up really quickly since Estes is the gateway town to Rocky Mountain National Park. Therefore, it’s a good idea to book your accommodations early! Estes is a pretty small town, so almost everything is within a 10 minute drive. I’m including a few different lodging options so you can get an idea of what’s available, however there are probably at least 50 hotels in Estes, various cabin rental options, and lots of airbnbs and VRBOs, so please book whatever suits you best. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all! Important note! Because Estes Park is a small mountain town, it does NOT have Ubers or Lyfts, so please keep that in mind!

Hotel

YMCA of the Rockies - Estes Park Center

2515 Tunnel Road, Estes Park, CO 80511
 (970) 586-3341

The YMCA of the Rockies is a great option if you’re wanting to enjoy the peace and serenity of being up in the mountains. It sits on 800+ acres, and includes all sorts of amenities including hiking trails, fitness areas, a cafe, small general store, and various different lodges. They offer all different types and sizes of cabins, as well as traditional hotel rooms. The YMCA is bordered by the National Park, so you can hike right into the park from their property. It is a bit more secluded, but still within a 10 minute drive to downtown Estes, and about a 10-15 minute drive from the venue.

Hotel

Lazy R Cottages

891 Moraine Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517
 (800) 672-9289

This is another option if you want to book a cabin instead of a traditional hotel. They have some riverside options, and are walking distance or a 1-2 minute drive to some restaurants, as well as a small grocery store. They are about a 10 minute drive from the venue.

Hotel

Stanley Hotel

333 East Wonderview Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517
 (970) 577-4000

The Stanley hotel is one of the most popular hotels in Estes Park, having been the movie setting for both The Shining and the hotel scenes of Dumb and Dumber. It offers a spa, a whiskey bar and wine bar, various different (very tasty) restaurants, as well as ghost tours and building tours. This is a bit more expensive of an option. It’s a 1 minute walk from the grocery store, a 5 minute walk to downtown (if you don’t mind a bit of a hill on the walk back), and a 10 minute drive to the venue.

House Or Rental

Mary’s Lake condos and vacation rentals

 970-624-7191

The Mary’s Lake condos and vacation rentals are the closest lodging option to the venue, being only a 5 minute drive away. They are a bit farther from downtown, but still within a 10 minute drive. They have beautiful mountain and lake views, and there’s an incredible steakhouse on the property, as well as a pool and jacuzzi. The attached link is for one of the vacation rental companies that rents them out, however you can look on VRBO and airbnb for them as well.
