FAQs

The Wedding Website of Luis Hernandez and Makiyah Bowers
If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out.
Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully) both the ceremony & reception will be held outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Exciting news! We’ll have an open bar for a limited time. Please drink responsibly, have your ID ready, and don’t forget to tip our awesome bartenders! More details on the timing coming soon.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you’ve received a plus-one, their name will be included in the subject line of your invitation. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Thank you so much for your understanding

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the event as soon as possible. However the deadline is April 1st. If we don’t receive your RSVP by this day, we cannot make exceptions and we’ll have to mark you as a ‘no’. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Photos are welcome! Please feel free to capture the moments, but kindly be mindful not to step in the way of our photographer. Thank you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re aiming for a formal all-black look. Women: Black floor-length, tea-length, or midi dresses with heels for the ceremony and photos. Men: Formal black wear, such as black pants and a white dress shirt; no ties or bow ties. Shoes: Heels for the ceremony and photos, but feel free to bring comfy shoes for the dance floor. Please avoid jeans, flip-flops, and casual outfits. Let’s keep it elegant and sharp!
