WE’RE GETTING HITCHED

First comes Tinder, then comes love, then comes a baby and a baby carriage... and then marraige! Our love story isnt your typical love story of how two people meet but I wouldnt change a thing about the way we met. We met in 2015 by both swiping right on a dating app! All I saw on his page was this outdoors adventure hottie that I knew I just had to meet. He actually was the first one to message me, and I dont remember exactly what the conversation was about but i do know i played hard to get for awhile, thank God he actually stuck around. I messaged him one night when my sister and i were down at Dels Bar playing pool for her birthday and asked him to come down to meet me. I finally convinced him to come down after his workout and meet me. I remeber that text saying “im here” and instantly my stomach filled with butterflies. I met him outside and instantly knew I could love this man. His smile swept me off my feet. A few days later we had our first date in Glacier Park where we hiked to Bowman lake and Avalanch Lake. From that day on we have been inseparable, we moved in after only 3 months, we tried for a baby after only 6 months, and have had two kids within the 5 years of being together. All odds were against us when things were moving so quickly, but here we are, ready to spend a lifetime together!

Usually once a year Daniel and I try to take a big trip the two of us to get away from the kids and just take some time to reconect with one another. This time he had planned a trip around Yellowstone, he had been there before when he used to work in the park so of course he knew the best places to go. We started our journey early in the morning and hit all the beautiful places in the park, we saw tons of wildlife and beautiful scenery. This was a 3 day trip, the first two days he never dropped any hints about a propsal. But of course in the back of my head i desperatly wanted him to propose because from day one i knew i wanted this man to be my husband. It was the last day of our trip, and it was to see old faithful. I rememeber walking up to get a good spot to watch the giser go off and Daniel seemed a little more nervouse but also had a big smile on his face, but really i didnt think anything about it. Soon after the giser started going off i was recording, and look to my left and see daniel on on knee completly shaking and asked me to marry him. HUNDREDS of people were standing around watching us and clapping and cheering so the nervs were high. I said YES immediately and gave the biggest hug to him! FINALLY i get to marry my best friend! The rest of the trip we walked the boardwalk around old faithful and everyone was congratulating us, I had the biggest smile on my face and my heart felt so full.
