We met our freshman year of college at a ballroom dance social lesson. We continued to bond through our love of dance and became very close friends. After 3 years of Anime watching, ballroom dancing, Steak n Shake eating fun, we said we loved each other and began to date! From there, as they say, is history.

I was attending a friend's wedding without Becca. I could not stop thinking about her, and wondering how she was doing. We were visiting home for the weekend, and she had chosen to spend some much needed time with her family while I was at the wedding. Later that night at my friend's reception, a slow dance came on and it reminded me of her. I was there by myself without her to dance with and in that moment, sitting by myself, the only thing I could think about was how nice it would be to dancing with her. I could not stop thinking about her. When I got back home, about a week later, I proposed.
