Freight House Farmers Market
One of our favorite activities along the Mississippi riverfront in Davenport, Iowa. It's a great weekend spot to go to for its fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, flowers, and handmade products, the market brings together farmers, artisans, musicians, and community member. You can browse vendor booths inside the historic Freight House building and outside along the riverfront while enjoying live music, food trucks, and scenic views of the Mississippi River. You MUST try Meathead's brats, the Philly Cheesesteak brats are our favorite!
Quad Cities River Bandits
Going to a Quad Cities River Bandits game is a classic Quad Cities summer experience. Fans gather at Modern Woodmen Park along the Mississippi River to enjoy baseball, ballpark food, and a lively family-friendly atmosphere. The stadium’s riverfront views, between-inning entertainment, and fireworks nights make the experience memorable whether you are a longtime baseball fan or just there for a fun evening with friends and family.
Historic Downtown Le Claire
Exploring downtown Le Claire offers a relaxed small-town experience along the Mississippi River. The historic streets are lined with locally owned boutiques, antique shops, cafés, and riverfront views that give the town its welcoming charm. We like to browse the unique stores, stopping for coffee at Cody Road, going to Wide River Winery, and getting martinis at 129 Coffee and Wine Bar (the chocolate martinis are the BEST).
TBK Bank Sports Complex
The BettPlex is a fun place to go for adults and children. They have laser tag, bowling, arcade games, indoor basketball courts, and even a gym on the second level. John and Jordan love to bowl together for fun date nights, and this is a go to place!
