The year was 2014, and after an array of missed connections Megan, recommended by her sister Melissa, and Collin recommended by his friend Eric, signed up for a new dating app called Tinder. Within the ones and zeros of that app's code is where their love was created. After chatting for a few days Collin asked Megan to join him for dinner at one of the most prestigious and lavish establishments within a couple mile radius of his condo, of course I'm talking about the California Pizza Kitchen in Chino Hills. As their meeting time approached Megan began to debate rescheduling but with a push from Vanessa she quickly dolled up and headed to CPK (and when I say "quickly" I mean she probably took anywhere from 1 to 3 hours to get ready). Megan apologetically told Collin that she was running a tad late but having a good feeling about Megan, he said he would patiently wait. After a brief 45 minutes past their agreed upon meeting time Megan finally arrived. Collin was glad he trusted his gut because that first date was absolutely perfect. After the bill had been paid, while Megan was walking Collin back to his car (yes you read that correctly, Megan walked Collin back to his car) Collin already eager for the second date, asked Megan if she would like come by for a bbq with friends that weekend. She gladly agreed and after that second date they became inseparable. Collin like's to think that it was the smooth and casual first kiss that he planted on Megan during that BBQ is what woo'd her into continuing to date him. Nevertheless the spark between them was instant and from there on out they were inseparable. Fast forwarding 1239 days from their first date, Megan, Collin, and the rest of Megan's family we're enjoying a week long family vacation in the beautiful wine country that is Napa CA. At this point Collin was 200% sure that Megan was the girl he wanted to marry, and having the romantic wine country as ammo, he knew that week would be the perfect time to propose.

To ensure a successful proposal, Collin had scheduled a series of events to take place on Friday, July 14th, 2017. The day before at approximately 8pm Collin told Megan that they would need to be up and out the door by no later than 4:45am the next day, as he had a surprise for her. This surprise was an item on Megan's bucket list, a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Napa Valley. With a little help from Collin's family, Collin and Megan were able to check off that bucket list item together. But this wasn't the whole surprise after all, the day was just getting started.  From there, Collin and Megan enjoyed some alone time visiting downtown Napa, then traveled north for a wine tasting at Duckhorn Vineyards. You see, Collin was trying to kill time because although Megan thought they were just exploring and enjoying their day in Napa, Collin knew that at 2:30pm they needed to be on Sterling Vineyard's arial gondola leading up to the winery estate, because at that very moment and at that very spot is where he would propose to Megan.  Dependent on the accuracy of Sterling Vineyard's cash register and receipt, at precisely 2:21pm Collin bought their tickets to the gondola and they began their ascent.  While on the gondola Megan was extremely focused on taking photos and videos of the breathtaking view, but since Collin could quickly see the end of the ride approaching, he took both of her hands and said to focus because he needed to tell her something. Collin, at this point emotionally unstable, got down on one knee and asked Megan to spend the rest of her life with him. In a flurry of joyful tears and overwhelming love Megan immediately said yes! As they got off the gondola and began to walk towards the winery, Megan looked up to see her and Collin's families there to surprise and celebrate them on their engagement.  They finished off the magical day with family dinner at Ristorante Allegria, & a two nights stay at the beautiful Andaz hotel overlooking downtown Napa.
