Question

Do I need a passport to go to Mexico?

Answer

YES! Please check your passport expiration date as there are delays with passport processing due to Covid. We have been advised that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months following your travel date. If you do not have a passport, please apply for one ASAP!

When is the deadline to book my room?

Answer

Our room block will officially close on 12/3/2021. If you are not able to book your room by this date, you’ll have to book directly with the resort and pay full price.

What should I wear for the Indian themed welcome party?

Answer

Please reach out to one of us for outfit inspo as well as links where you can purchase everything! The dress code has been updated on the schedule tab!

Are kids/babies welcome?

Answer

You are more than welcome to bring your kids to the resort, however we kindly ask that you do not bring babies to the ceremony or reception (we have a videographer and would like to avoid having fussy babies during our intimate moment!). We understand it may be hard to leave a baby at home, so if you decide to bring one, there are on-site day care (babysitting) services that you can purchase. You can email guestservice.mecm@majestic-resorts.com for information/prices! Please reach out to one of us if you are bringing a baby or if you have any concerns!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, if we do not designate a plus one for you, it's because we simply cannot fit any more guests. If this is an issue or if you feel like we missed someone (very possible!), please don't hesitate to reach out to one of us! With that being said, you are more than welcome to bring anyone you want to the resort!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please book rooms at the Majestic Elegance Resort. You will have to pay a fee to obtain a daily pass to attend the wedding if you book at a different resort. The Majestic is an all inclusive resort, so the room rate includes all of your food, booze, taxes, and gratuities for the duration of your stay. Note: If you book via the resort website, please provide us with your confirmation number so we can add you to our room block- this is important!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please see the 'Registry' tab! We do not have a registry anywhere else. Although we appreciate the thought, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing actual gifts to the resort as we might not have room to bring it back!

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony! We will have a photographer and videographer capturing the day, so please enjoy your time and stay present!

Can your travel agent help with booking flights?

Answer

She can, however it is much easier if you book flights yourself. Please book flights directly with the airline! Avoid sites like Expedia and Priceline as they tend to offer tickets that do not necessarily guarantee you a seat on the plane. We’ve heard wedding horror stories, so please book with the airline!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have several different food options and there will be something for everyone, however if you have a rare food allergy, please let us know.

Is there transportation to and from the airport and the resort?

Answer

You can book airport transfers with our travel agent, Amber! She will provide the information when you make your final payments for your rooms.

What does “child rate depends on double occupancy” mean?

Answer

To qualify for the child rate of $100 per night for 2-12 year olds, you must have two adults in the room. If it is one adult and a child, you will be charged the adult price for the child. There are ways around this, so please reach out to one of us if you are in this situation!

Question

What is the difference between Elegance Club and the regular rooms?

Answer

The size and design of the rooms are the exact same. The Elegance Club is the adults only (18+) section of the resort. These rooms come with a Butler to make sure you have everything you need (he can also book restaurant and spa reservations for you). You also have 24/7 room service for free, whereas the family side charges a $20 service fee after 11pm. Additionally, you can have seated breakfast and lunch at some of the restaurants, whereas the family side you are limited to the buffets (don’t worry, the food is still amazing!).
