E: After meeting online, we met in person for the first time at Salento Bistro in Rice Village. I learned afterward that Coleman almost arrived at the wrong time...which would have made for a memorable April Fool's Day. C: Let's just say the internet was involved.
E: As we arrived for a long planned cruise vacation, I was disappointed because it was pouring rain as we boarded and the forecast was showing less than ideal conditions for most of our seven day adventure. The next day, the weather improved and we were able to enjoy the afternoon poolside! That evening was formal night, so Coleman suggested that we check out the sunset from one of the upper decks before dinner. We were alone except for a couple of tween girls taking selfies further down the railing. Coleman suggested (see a theme here?) that we offer to take their photo and ask if they would take ours in return. They took our photo with the sunset and as they handed the phone back, Coleman said "Maybe you could take one more...." and a perfect moment followed. Not only did they take a photo that captured my surprise, but they recorded the proposal as well. The next morning we called my mom from Bubba Gump's in Cozumel to share the news! C: I tell people that I liked Erin so much that I proposed one week after we started dating....four years later.
