Our love story began in September 2022, when we were introduced by mutual friends—who, coincidentally, just got married! For our first date, Trent went all out, planning a picnic that was nothing short of perfect. He thought of everything: cozy blankets, delicious food, wine, romantic music, and even a beautifully arranged charcuterie board. It felt like the dreamiest setup, but as we arrived at our spot, nature had other plans. With his hands full of picnic essentials, Trent didn’t realize that his legs were quickly becoming a feast for mosquitoes. His legs were completely covered, and we could barely see his skin beneath. We hurried back to the car, laughing all the way, trying to avoid being completely eaten alive. After a quick detour to Walgreens for hydrocortisone cream, we both walked into the store—me in heels and him all dressed up—laughing at how things had taken an unexpected turn. In the car, I ended up rubbing cream on his legs, and in that totally unplanned moment, we grew even closer. Despite the chaos, Trent managed to find a way to salvage the evening. We ended up under a beautiful gazebo, and it turned out to be more perfect than we could have imagined. From that night on, I knew there was something extraordinary about him. Even when everything didn’t go according to plan, Trent still found a way to make it all work. He’s the kind of love that’s steady, selfless, and unwavering—the kind I’ve always dreamed of. Since then, he’s loved me wholeheartedly, and every day I find more reasons to fall even deeper for him.
