It all started in 2018, on the campus of Oregon State University. At first, we were just two people moving through our own routines, hanging out as friends, and unaware of how much we'd soon mean to each other. Then came April 14th, 2019—the day everything changed. What started as something simple, a decision to take a chance on each other, quickly grew into something steady, something real. The kind of love that feels like home. We learned from each other in the in-between moments—late-night talks, laughter over nothing, and the comfort of just being side by side. When the world slowed down during the COVID-19 pandemic, our lives didn’t pause—they deepened. That’s when we brought home our first dog (Henry), a small, crazy addition that somehow made everything feel even more complete. Walks, routines, and shared responsibility turned into memories we'll always cherish. Through it all, we kept building—both graduated from college not just as individuals, but as partners who had supported each other every step of the way. We moved in together. Creating a home filled with love, comfort, and a brand new furry friend (Penelope). Then came March 2024—the moment our love expanded in the most beautiful way possible. We welcomed our daughter into the world, and suddenly, everything we had built together became even more meaningful. Emerson wasn’t just a new chapter—she was the living proof of our love, a perfect blend of both of us, and the center of a future together. On May 21st, 2025, we said yes to forever in Italy. The proposal wasn’t just a question—it was a reflection of everything we had already been building together. Every laugh, every challenge, every quiet moment had led to that promise: that this love was here to stay. This love story isn't about easy—it’s been about growing up together, choosing each other again and again, and building a life rooted in partnership, resilience, accountability, and unwavering love. From a college campus in 2018 to a family and a future that keeps unfolding—this is only the beginning. Love, The Kerrs
