It’s my first time visiting Catalina. What are some helpful tips to know?

Answer

- If you are staying in a vacation rental in Hamilton Cove, make sure that it has a golfcart! These properties are up a very steep hill, about a mile out of the main town, and would be a crazy walk. Make sure they provide a golf cart if you stay here. - Make sure that your rental is in Avalon! (not two Harbors!) Two Harbors is on the opposite side of the island. You wouldn’t be able to get to and from the wedding. - There is a great camping option in town! Just make sure your reservation is at Hermit’s Gulch (all of the other campsites are far out of town.) - Make sure to bring your wedding essentials with you! We do not have any department stores here and Amazon takes a couple of days to deliver. You can’t just make a quick run to Target to grab socks when you are here, so come prepared!
