Maid of Honor
We are not only best friends but soul-sisters, and I can't think of a better person to stand by my side on my wedding day. We have been inseparable since we first met as a fourth and fifth grader. From wheeling a suitcase to school to stay with each other every Friday to being college roommates--how lucky are we to have had each other for so long? They say there is one person in life who just "gets you" and can know what you're thinking without ever saying a word, for me this person has always been Erika. Sometimes she can even tell me how I feel before I know it myself, because she's just that good at knowing who I am. My wedding is just one of many lifetime of memories that we have shared and are yet to share.
Best Man
Dj is Drew's big brother and lifetime best friend. If one of them is in trouble you know the other one was right there with them. These two share a unique bond that everyone would be lucky to have with their sibling. They've been together every step of the way so it only makes sense that Dj is standing next to Drew on his big day. From fishing at all their secret fishing holes to detailing cars together, Drew and Dj are almost always by each other's side. Dj has even become a brother to me over the last three years, and I can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have someone like Dj to count on in our lives.
Maid of Honor
Rylie is not only my cousin but my very best friend. We have been together through it all, from the first day of kindergarten, high school graduation, her son being born, being named his Godmother, and remaining just as close when her and her fiance, Adam, moved to Oregon. Our friendship is one that knows no distance, and as our matching tattoos remind us every day we're friends "No matter what" and "No matter where." I can't thank Rylie enough for making the trek all the way back to Nebraska to stand by my side on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Drew has known Adam for as long as he can remember, and he has definitely become a brother over the years. Drew and Adam share a passion for fishing, and could be found cruising around town on any given night during their high school years. Adam is also marrying my best friend Rylie (maid of honor) and Drew and I share the role of Godparents over their son, Bennett--making us all extremely close. This summer Drew and I drove over 1,200 miles in 24 hours to see Adam and Rylie in their new Oregon home, proving that the four of us can't be separated no matter how far the distance is. We can't wait for Adam to come back to Nebraska and be a part of our very special day.
Bridesmaid
Riley is my cousin, life-time friend, and the first person I look for at a family event. Especially in the last few years Riley and I have become inseparably close and have spent many nights together talking and giving each other advice. Drew and Riley are also very close and we all have spent so much time together just laughing and having fun. Riley is wise beyond her years and we just know she's going to be something great when she grows up. She is such a wholesome person and wouldn't hurt a fly--but she could make a witty joke about it off the top of her head. We know Riley is going to bring humor (when we need it most) and lots of fun to our wedding day. We wouldn't want to get married without her by our side!
Groomsman
Brent and Drew met through high school football, and could probably be found driving down the one-ways causing trouble on the weekends. Since Drew and I have been together Brent has become our shared best friend and go-to person. On any given night you can find the three of us together sharing home-made dinner or Brent's moms delicious ice cream-- and of course lots of laughs. We truly are "the three best friends" and we can't imagine our lives without him. Brent is the kind of person you can call at any time and he'll be there with help in a seconds notice. We are so excited to have Brent standing with us on our special day--although we might want to keep the microphone away from him at the reception ;)
Bridesmaid
Emma is my cousin and go-to person for fashion advice or newest trend. She has the kindest soul of anyone I have ever met, and is all around a beautiful person. I can't wait to watch her blossom with whatever she chooses to do with her life, whether that be soccer star or world-famous doctor ;) I know Emma will bring me so much peace on our wedding day by always knowing what looks best and how everything should be set up. I'm so lucky to call her family and have her by my side on my wedding day!
Groomsman
Jason is my only brother and first best friend. When I think of my childhood Jason is always right there standing next to me. From playing "bike shop" as kids (which included Jason taking my bike apart and not knowing how to put it back together) to seeing him blossom into an amazing husband and father, Jason has been by my side every step of the way. Jason immediately took Drew under his wing and welcomed him to the family, making them more and more like brothers everyday. As my only sibling and big brother Jason had a huge role in making me who I am, and I couldn't imaging getting married without him up there standing next to us.
Bridesmaid
Christina is unique to our wedding party because not only is she Drew's cousin, she's one of the closest friends I met working at Kids Klub--long before Drew and I were together. Christina and I were a team for quite a few years at Kids Klub, sharing a group of kids and doing all the activities with them. She kept me sane with all of the kiddos we had to look after. I always considered myself lucky to be paired with her because we made a great team and we were always having fun. Since Drew and Christina are cousins they have known eachother their entire lives and are very close. I was very lucky to have already had a friend within Drew's family when we started dating. We are over the moon that Christina will be joining us on our big day!
Groomsman
Dylan and Drew have been friends since 6th grade, and he graduated high school with both the bride and groom. These two share a passion for building their project cars. They can be found in a garage working on Drew's Camaro and Dylan's Mustang at any given time. These two get a bit wild when they are together and are always laughing and having a good time. Drew and Dylan's friendship has definitely stood the test of time and we are so excited that Dylan is going to be standing with us on our wedding day.
Ring Bearer
Bennett is Drew and I's shared Godson, and we can't think of a more special little boy to be our ring bearer. Benny has made our lives happier since the moment we met him and we can't wait to spend our special day with him.
