Darwin came to the United States to participate in the Work and Travel program at Hershey Park in June of 2024. Makenzie already worked at Hershey Park. At the beginning of the 2024 season, fate would find them assigned to work together at the Great Bear ride. They became instant friends, sharing phone numbers and conversation. He told her about his culture and she showed him around town. From then on, they spent the summer together—laughing, learning about each other, and creating memories they'll never forget. When he had to return to the Dominican Republic, it was hard to say goodbye. But even from miles apart, they stayed connected, talking every day, and that’s when their connection truly began to grow into something special.
Darwin llegó a Estados Unidos en junio de 2024 para participar en el programa de Trabajo y Viajes en Hershey Park. Makenzie ya trabajaba allí.
