Summer of 2015, Bradley and MaKenzie matched online. They exchanged phone numbers. They messaged back and forth for two months before deciding to meet in person. Brad invited Kenzie over to his apartment downtown to watch a movie-Gone Girl. The night of the meeting, Kenzie arrived at Brad's apartment at dusk. She was asked to park in a "sketchy" parking lot. She texted Brad confirming that she had parked in the correct spot. He was already standing at the end of the parking lot waiting to greet her. When Kenzie had approached Brad, he had his hand out ready to give her a handshake as he told her that his name is "Brad". She laughed and shook his hand. The rest is history.
Winter of 2018, Bradley and MaKenzie joined her family on a trip to Arizona. Prior to the trip, Kenzie had mentioned to Brad that this would be a PERFECT opportunity to be proposed to. She attend her favorite restaurant, San Tan Flats, hoping that Brad would pop the question. No luck! The next day, the whole family rented side-by-sides to go through the dusty desert and canyons of Arizona. Kenzie thought for sure this was not an ideal place to get proposed to. After hours of riding, they had reached the top of the canyon with dust in their hair, eyes, and mouth. Brad surveyed the area and felt that it would be the perfect spot to propose to Kenzie. He found a spot under a surprisingly live tree that out looked the desert. You could see for miles. The camera man (Cory, Kenzie's step dad) was taking some random pictures of the view, when Brad tapped Kenzie on the shoulder. He got a little nervous (as everyone was staring at him) and asked Kenzie to marry him. He had forgotten to get down on one knee. When Angie (Kenzie's mom) shouted, "Brad get on one knee". Brad then, re-proposed to Kenzie on one knee. Without hesitation, Kenzie responded "YES". Now Brad and Kenzie have been planning their wedding ever since. They are now FINALLY ready to tie the knot- November 28, 2024 (Thanksgiving Day).
