Uber and Lyft are also available to get to the island; however, only Lyft can provide pickups, and service is limited.

The Innlet on the Waterfront is located just a half mile from the Gasparilla Inn (a five-minute golf cart ride) offering waterfront rooms with views of the Boca Grande Bayou and boat docks. The Boca Grande Hotel is a 4-mile drive (approximately a 20-minute golf cart ride) from the Gasparilla Inn, offering comfortable efficiency rooms located near the entrance of the island. Originally built in 1900 as a private residence, it was converted to an Inn 13 years later. The Inn is located on a quiet street, just one block away from beaches, downtown shopping, and the historic Gasparilla Inn. Car Travel
1. RENTAL CARS A rental car is the best option for traveling from the airports to Boca Grande. Please note there is a $6 toll to get onto the island. Parking is widely available throughout; once you arrive, it is easy to get around on foot or by golf cart. 2. CAR SERVICE If you are staying at The Gasparilla Inn, they will assist in coordinating transportation to and from the airport if you would like to forgo renting a car. We recommend that you call The Inn directly to coordinate this.
