In the fall of 2021, it had become clear to me that I wanted to spend forever with Makensie. So began planning how to ask the hardest but easiest question of my life. There were so many options going through my head where should I ask? Should it be at a formal dinner or a picnic at the park? Then finally, I decided to take Makensie on a vacation in December between Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and Hot Springs, Arkansas. Enjoying amazing food and breathtaking scenery. Finally, I took her to Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs Arkansas which is a beautiful botanical garden. While walking through the garden I was continually looking for the perfect spot and finally, I found it. A beautiful koi pond with a small waterfall. As I prepared myself to pop the big question I became so nervous. I then took Makensie by the hands and looking into her beautiful blue eyes told her how much I love her and couldn't imagine my life without her and wanted to spend a lifetime with her the woman that has my whole heart. I then take a knee and asked the BIG question will you marry me? Makensie lit up with the most beautiful smile and was almost lost for words as she says YES!!!!
