Zack and I met at Concordia University Nebraska, or at least off campus. It was September 2019. I went out with my friends to celebrate Tannor's birthday, and Zack was at the house of one of his football teammates. After going to a few places, my friends and I ended up at the football house on Kolterman Ave, and Zack was sitting at the table when we walked in. He struck up a conversation with one of the people I was with, and as he puts it, I was "mad-dogging" him the whole time. Little did he know, that's just my resting face. By the end of the night, I had followed him on Instagram. Six months later, the school had shut down for Covid and I replied to one of Zack's Instagram stories to ask him a question. We Skyped a couple of times, and I even told one of my friends, "If I marry anyone from Concordia, it will probably be Zack Aleo". Little did I know, Zack would return to Concordia in January of 2021. At that time, one of my favorite things to do was to go on nighttime drives, so I ended up taking Zack on one. As he puts it, he knew I was different once he heard my music taste (thank you to my brothers for that). I knew he was different when I watched him help a car out of a snowbank, while wearing shorts and sandals. After that, we quickly became inseparable. Eventually, we went on a sushi date, and by May, we were officially dating. From student teaching, to road trips, to job changes, to moving (so many times), we have been through so many life events together. On March 24, in Zack's hometown, he asked me to marry him and I said yes (obviously). Zack once told me that whatever door I decided to walk through, he would walk through it with me. Well, June 6, 2025 opens a forever-type door for us, and we couldn't be more excited to walk through it with you!
