Payton Borg

Maid of Honor

It is a dream come true that my little sister will stand next to me in July as my maid of honor. Although I am 6 years older than Payton, I look up to her in so many ways. Payton is also the sister with the better grades and better dance moves (but don't tell her that). She is stubborn (but usually ends up being right), confident, intelligent, beautiful, and kind. I am extremely proud of the woman she has become. (It doesn't hurt that she will be freshly 21 come March just in time for the bachelorette party and wedding). Better yet, I am anxiously awaiting this maid of honor speech from Payton Jo.

Audrey Lee

Bridesmaid

Audrey and I met at The University of Minnesota when we both transferred there. We ended up being roommates for three years after that. Whether it's been to Madison for Gopher hockey games, visiting her in Toronto, or annual trips with the DOZ, I've loved traveling with Audrey. She is the best tour guide, knows the trendiest spots, but may need you to book the reservation as she's now banned from Open Table:) Audrey is extremely spontaneous, full of adventure, and independent. I have always admired these qualities in her and have tried to display these more in my own life. In addition, Audrey and I will be going through this crazy wedding journey together as our big days are only a week apart!

Grace Gerring

Bridesmaid

Grace and I met at The University of Minnesota. Right away, I connected with Grace over laughs and (most likely a few drinks). Grace is one of the most genuine souls I have ever met. We have an absolute blast every time we're together, and I cannot wait to spend the wedding weekend with Grace by my side! She is known for her killer dance moves, impressive vocal performances (shout-out "One Dance"), and infectious personality. If we're lucky, we'll get to see these performances on 7/20/19 :)

Sydney Kelsey

Bridesmaid

Syd and I go way back to the halls of Eden Prairie high school. We met in 8th grade and have been great friends ever since. Since high school we have had a long distance relationship as Syd went off to Iowa City and now Chicago. I cherish our friendship greatly and am thankful we have been able to keep in touch throughout the years! Syd is an amazing friend, loyal, and no time with Syd is spent without constant laughs. Not to mention, I learn all of my hip, new lingo from Syd. V excited for her to be a part of this day!

Lauren Barnes

Bridesmaid

I can't quite pinpoint the moment, but Lauren and I met during college at some point through mutual friends. However, we started to become close during our first year after college when she returned home from Germany. In addition, within the last few years Kevin and I have become extremely close to Lauren and her fiance Niko. In fact, we mostly like to hangout with each other while the boys golf and laugh about ridiculous YouTube videos. Lauren is incredibly loyal, hardworking, supportive, and strong in her beliefs. Something I respect greatly about her. I cannot wait to laugh my way to the altar with Lauren by my side on 7/20/19.

Brandi St. Mane

Bridesmaid

Fun fact: Brandi and I originally met while slinging little girl yoga pants at ivivva at the Mall of America circa 2014. Brandi claims she gave me street cred after she saw me in my Nike wedges. I had recently started my first nursing job while Brandi was graduating nursing school. Because of our instant connection and mutual love for Caribou, I did my best to recruit Brandi to the ICU I worked at and was successful. We continued to get the same nursing jobs in order to work together until we both started grad school and were finally forced apart. Brandi is an extremely caring and special person, and I know we will be lifelong friends.

Alex Coursol

Bridesmaid

There is never a dull moment when I am talking about or with Coursol. That is for sure! I met Alex at The University of Minnesota where we were roommates for three years (with Audrey). It is impossible to count the amount of laughs, emotions, cheese rollups and amazing times I have spent with Coursol. I respect so much about Alex, but her drive and passion for her career in psychology is at the top of the list. We are very different, but at the same time very alike, and I learn from Alex every time I am with her. Watch out for this chick on the dance floor bringing the heat on the best day ever!

Sami Reber

Bridesmaid

Sami and I met about 3 years ago when we were both coaching teams at Edina. I haven't known Sami as long as i've known many other individuals, but I immediately knew Sami would be a friend of mine for life. Sami is incredibly loyal, hardworking, and not to mention a back to back state champ:) We have bonded many times over how we view competition, accountability, lifelong learning, and most frequently how to keep high school girls in line:) I have the best time with Sami and cannot wait for her to stand by my side on this day!

Alex Sims

Bridesmaid

Alex and I officially met during college at The University of Minnesota, but had crossed paths on the lacrosse field once or twice in high school as part of the Edina/EP border battle. Alex is a loyal friend, always up for anything, and is beyond hilarious. Anytime I am with Alex I know i'm probably going to laugh more than I talk. Kevin and I absolutely love hanging with Alex and her fiance Marshall, but don't get to do that as much as we'd like since Boston stole them away from us. I cannot wait for Alex to be a part of our big day!

Jake Gardiner

Best Man

What started off as a 2am traveling companion to Milio's Sub Shop has since turned into a lifelong friendship. Both Jake and I were D1 athletes at Wisconsin (not a big deal), and lived next door to each other in the dorms. We spent many hours at Wisco playing Mario Kart, drinking at the KK, and convincing the math tutor that I was the 3rd string hockey goalie (shoutout Man Chak). Although we've been through ups and downs together, living in different countries, and each starting our own families, I am thankful for the friendship that has remained constant.

Logan Borg

Groomsman

I have always heard stories of friends getting married and having awful in laws, but thankfully I lucked out with Logan. I spend most saturday mornings living vicariously through his Snapchats from the night before, although thankful it doesn't come with the subsequent hangover. If you're wondering where to find Logan at the wedding, look for the guy with his shirt off on the dance floor by 11pm. He's my consultant for fantasy football and provides constant entertainment. (Ask him about the time he crashed the wedding at Bearpath in a powder blue suit.)

Mitch Larson

Groomsman

The first time I met Mitch, it was about 3am in a duck marsh about a half hour south of Madison, Wi. If my memory serves correctly, we hated each other at first. Once we both realized that neither of us were as big of douchebags as we previously thought, our friendship grew. We lived together for 2 years in the famous "141 Lathrop" house (93 kegs in 2 years no big deal), spending many late nights partying and many early mornings in the duck blind.

Ryan Schwickert

Groomsman

What to say about Schwick (aka Shick, Stick, Ashika, Shockler, Sticky, Schwoegler, ShockaCon, Shocka, Swooperty Daniels, and about 100 other variations). Ryan and I met in Madison through Jake. As college went by, we grew into better and better friends. Ryan is truly one of the nicest humans i know (don't tell him i said that.) I lived with him for 2 weeks when I first moved to Minnesota, and have spent many weekends at the CZ (Chill Zone) watching football and getting yelled at by the downstairs neighbor, Donna.

Alex Klehr

Groomsman

Klehr, what an absolute wildcard. The first time I met Klehr was at the Gardiner's House in Arizona. At Schwick's insistence, Jake invited Klehr and Krogen down for what previously had been a nice long weekend of relaxation, golf, and a couple casual beers. We make fun of Klehr for livin' the dream of working from home, having a gorgeous wife (sup Hannah), and a beautiful daughter Ava. Klehr is the guy to bring the energy on a hungover morning, and get the party started again.

Tony Krogen

Groomsman

Much like myself, Pat, Klehr, Mitch, and Jake; Krogen continued the trend of marrying someone WAY out of his league. We have the King of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) Anthony Krogen. Along with Klehr, I met Krogen in AZ. Since then, I have had the privilege of calling him my friend. If you couldn't guess by his picture, he once scored 42 goals in '08 (nnnnnnot a big deal) and was a stud golfer at St. John's. Unfortunately, he wasn't a D1 athlete like myself, Jake, Max, and Corey, but I guess D3 isn't too bad either. The highlight of our friendship was in the 2016 AZ trip, where we had the championship ring stolen off of our finger due to quite possibly the most egregious penalty in the history of golf, when jake "accidentally" picked up our ball out of the fairway.

Pat Cron

Groomsman

I first met Pat through Klehr and Krogen (another D3 athlete and the 2013 MIAC Sportsmanship Award Winner), and we became fast friends. It was through Pat that I was introduced to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Pat and his wife Megan have become great friends to Makenna and I. It was Pat who I battled (and won) the great Thanksgiving Chug Off of 2017. He's the epitome of the saying "I'm not as good as i once was, but i'm as good once as i ever was," becuase his hangovers are absolutely legendary (see picture). Him and I both love to compete against each other and argue till we are blue in the face, however you won't meet a better friend and bigger patriot than Pat Cron.

Corey Leivermann

Groomsman

As you can tell by his picture, this guy is a big deal. Like most of the other Mankato guys, I met Corey through Schwick and quickly became fast friends. Corey is the king of trash talk, and hardly stops chirping Schwick on the course for being on his phone. In our partnership on the course in AZ, Team Titties had an abysmal showing. We were hands down the best dressed, but quite possibly the worst on the course. Speaking of awful performances, It was Corey and I battling it out in the Toilet Bowl for our Fantasy League. Thankfully, I absolutely mopped the floor with the guy, and he cemented his place as DFL.

Max Gardiner

Groomsman

Where do I even start with Max. Max is Jake's younger brother, and as such, much like my younger brother as well. Him and I are constantly arguing (although we both agree the Vikings suck), and competing, mostly on the golf course. We both have the ability to play very good and also VERY bad. Whenever we play golf with a group of friends, the featured matchup is always Max vs. Kevin. Not because it's good golf to watch, but how heated the arguments get between shots. (BTW i'm 1-0 in official golf matchups vs. Max). Although we love to argue about Fantasy Football, Golf, and pretty much everything else, I know I can trust Max with anything, and can rely on him as a great friend.

Kasey DeLamielleure

Usher

Kasey, Kasey, Kasey. I was looking through pictures, trying to decide which one to use that would adequately describe my younger brother. I had to use the most recent one, because he's grown over a foot in the last 2 years. He's currently in driver's ed, (don't worry, we won't let him near the driver's seat of a car yet), but it seems like yesterday he was a toddler running around the house. I love hanging out with Kasey because he's a great confidence booster (he thinks all of my jokes are absolutely hilarious).

Kyle DeLamielleure

Usher

Even crazier than Kasey taking Driver's Ed, is Kyle graduating from high school. It seems like last year that Kyle was a little chunker running around the house with a handful of Oreos stuffed in his fist. He's grown up into an incredible man, and is always down to go hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or shooting. I'm not sure where the paradigm shifted, because Mom let's him sleep in until 11am but when I was his age, It was a 9am wakeup call every saturday morning because "you're sleeping the day away". Who knows, maybe she likes him better!

Aaron Byers

Usher

Aaron and I have been stepbrothers for 18 years, and friends and hockey teammates long before that. We drove my dad and stepmom absolutely insane with our shenanigans growing up, and I'm sure put more gray hairs on their heads than they care to admit. Aaron and I were always trying to out-do each other, but I think he takes the cake with what happened right after I got engaged. I called him up to tell him the great news, and he said "Hey man, I'm super happy for you, and I'm sorry I really don't mean to upstage you. But Lauren is 6 months pregnant, and we just got married at the courthouse about an hour ago". You win this round, Aaron.
