Makenna and Garrett were set up by two mutual friends, that thought they would be perfect together. Turns out...THEY WERE RIGHT! After talking back and forth for a few days, Garrett asked Makenna to go grab an ice cream in Seal Beach, to finally meet in person. After eating ice cream and walking the Seal Beach pier, Makenna and Garrett sat on a bench on Main St. and talked for 5 hours! After this first date, they became inseparable.

On a summer night in August, Garrett asked Makenna to go for a walk to the jetty in Seal Beach, nothing out of the ordinary. As they walked down the sand into the sand bar little did Makenna know, Garrett was about to ask her a very important question. As Makenna was distracted by the water, Garrett got down on one knee and as Makenna turned around he asked her "Will You Marry Me?" Once the shock faded and she was able to catch her breath, she said "YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Seal Beach!
