La Jolla is such a special place, and we’re so excited for you to experience it! This charming coastal town is incredibly walkable and full of great spots to eat, sip, and explore.
Coffee lovers, rejoice! La Jolla is full of amazing cafés. Be sure to check out some of Makenna's favorites (As Connor doesn't drink coffee...how?!): Elixir, Parakeet, and Brick & Bell—all perfect for a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon caffeine break.
For breakfast or brunch, you really can’t go wrong. We love Harry’s Cafe, Cody’s, Sugar and Scribe, and The Cottage. If you're up for a quick Uber, Shore house Kitchen is totally worth the short ride!
Looking for a spot to enjoy the sunshine? Head to one of La Jolla’s gorgeous patios like Catania, Birdseye, George’s at the Cove, or the iconic La Valencia patio. Each offers amazing views and a great vibe.
For cocktails, Le Coq is our absolute favorite. The bartenders there are truly artists—expect creative, delicious drinks and a fun atmosphere.
