It’s Time

Most of you may know our story. We met when we were 10 years old, but let’s break that down a bit. That was roughly 21 years ago. Last time I checked we were not that old. How is that possible? We spent the next few years of school “crushing” on each other. Our 8th grade year Joey asked Makena to be his girlfriend. There wasn't much dating going on at that time because we were 13 and some parental authorities weren't having that. That is where our story began on the grounds of Summerville Elementary where we passed notes in class, flirted at recess and had long conversations over the phone. While not remaining a couple all of our high school years, we remained close friends and just knew one day we would be together again. Fast foward to now, we moved to Chico almost 11 years ago. Bought our first home in 2013 and continue to pour our love into it. We are a strong team. Our love continues to grow and evolve, as we do through all the seasons of life. We are both VERY excited for our next chapter as a married couple. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you, so bring your dancing shoes.
