What should I wear?

Semi Formal Attire We will be getting married in the forest, so forego your stilettos for some cute booties or wedges. The weather will be beautiful but can be brisk, so make sure to bring a coat or shawl, especially for the evening.

Weather in Ravensdale Washington in August will have a high of 76 degrees and a low of 51 degrees. The wedding ceremony and reception will all be held outdoors into the evening hours. A jacket is recommended for the evening.

The wedding ceremony and reception will all be held outdoors in the evening hours. A jacket or shawl for the evening will be recommended.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle transportation will be provided to the venue. Please RSVP for your transportation if needed. Ubers & Lyfts are available in Ravensdale for those wanting a more private lift. Rock Creek Ranch does have limited parking, if you choose to drive, we suggest you carpool to save on spaces.

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time, and we can get the party started as scheduled.

Where should guests park?

Answer

For guests who would like to drive themselves to the venue, there will be parking available on the property. You can also take an Uber if you do not need the shuttle transportation.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate this day with us.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the wedding party will be taking pictures for an hour. Guest will head straight to the cocktail garden to sip on drinks, and enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

We will have a scrumptious dinner waiting for you. A vegetarian option will be available.

While we will have an unplugged ceremony, we encourage guests to post pictures after the ceremony on their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #makememichael so we can keep track of all the memories!

What about COVID-19?

This past year has been quite a wild ride so far to say the least, and planning a wedding during this time has prompted new considerations to take. We know each individual has their own set of precautions they having been taking, and will take during future gatherings such as our wedding. While your attendance is important to us, we understand your health and safety come first. Although this unprecedented situation is dynamic, we feel comfortable going forward having all events held outdoors. While not required, we want all guests to feel safe; wearing a mask is at your discretion. We will have sanitizing options upon arrival. We hope you are are all healthy and safe during this time, and we appreciate all the love and support we've received from each of you.
