We will be having only one reception in Arizona, October 16th at the Glendale Stake Center.
Unfortunately the laws are constantly changing in Hawaii due to the pandemic. Things have drastically changed and we are no longer having a reception in Hawaii. Please to try to understand we wanted nothing more than to celebrate with all our loved ones over there. If you would still like to meet in person please contact us so we can set up a time. Mahalo!
Yes, this is a traditional dance usually done in the Samoan culture, where a daughter of a chief performs the dance and it is a modern tradition for people to “lafo” or throw money on the floor or into the air above the dancer. People may place money on the dancer in acknowledgment of her skill and status. Joining in dance is welcomed and encouraged. So don’t forget to bring cash, It is a beautiful cultural experience you don’t want to miss out on!
We are registered on Amazon, which you can easily find under the “registry” tab on this website.
Amazon can ship directly to our house in Utah. However, we are more than understanding if giving money is easier for you. We fully encourage cash or Venmo ( @makela-conte / @aaron-kamiya ) to make things easier.
Yes, we do anticipate there will be many people coming, it is open seating and it’s highly encourage to come early :)
All children are welcome, but we kindly ask you to make sure you can see them and supervise them as to not be distracting or disrespectful to the building. We want to celebrate with everyone and not have to worry about your children’s safety and whereabouts.
