It was March of 2019. Kirsten was working nights at the hospital, and Andrew was in the middle of moving into a new place. They both swiped right, but things didn't spark right away. For the first few weeks, Kirsten was not fully invested, but she was no match for his charm. Not until one Sunday morning, after a long overnight shift, Kirsten and Andrew finally held a lasting conversation. She was on her way home from work when she replied to his messages. To her surprise, he was awake and responded. Little did she know, it was moving day for Andrew. He was hauling his belongings, and she was winding down from work. Their chat flowed so naturally. They both bonded over music, what they like to do, and why she initially wasn't so responsive. Their talks went beyond that day, to every following day. Often into the late hours of the night. He worked days. She worked nights, but they were ALWAYS talking. Up until their first date was finally decided. April 26th at The Pike in Long Beach. Andrew picked Kirsten up in his brand new white car. He was nervous. She was nervous. But their was a definite spark. They both knew on that day that this was going to be something special.
