Maid of Honor
She's the Cristina Yang to Hilary's Meredith Grey, one of her oldest friends: she is Hilary's person. A loyal, kind, smart, and intuitive soul, she is the Most Likely to Not Talk Hilary Out of Something Crazy and has been known to hop in the car and drive to Texas just to pick up cases of beer. Hilary and Sarah met in the UL History department and have been roommates, travel companions, animal lovers, and best friends since 2011. Sarah will be handing off the title of "Hilary's Constant" (LOST reference) to Eric, may he hold the title with the same ease of devotion and steadfastness as she.
Bridesmaid
Kind, creative, and devoted, this lady is proof that there is a cosmic force pulling us toward our soulmates. Over a decade ago, they were at the same school, but did not "meet" until three years ago (when Hilary needed her most). Kristina wins Most Likely to Listen to Hilary's Meltdown While Coming Up With Three Plans to Fix the Problem. Kristina recently passed away unexpectedly but remains a fixture in our hearts and minds, and her place as a bridesmaid and a friend will last forever. ❤
Bridesmaid
Someone who never ceases to amaze others with her selflessness and compassion, this lady has been an adventure companion, a sounding board, a partner in all things nerd, and so much more than the title Best Friend or Roommate could ever describe. While one of the kindest people Hilary knows, she is Most Likely to Shank a Fool for Kicking a Dog. Sarah and Hilary have traveled the country together, from the Blue Ridge Mountains to Denali National Park in Alaska. There is no adventure Hilary would want to take without Sarah by her side.
Bridesmaid
Hilary has never met another person with more heart and soul, or a willingness to embrace the weird, fun, and crazy with an open mind than Jill. She possesses a wisdom beyond her years, a fondness for a good jam, and potentially the record for most times someone has seen Ray LaMontagne live. Voted Most Likely to Let Hilary Dress Her in Food, she not only supports the insanity but enthusiastically comes along for the ride. There's no question that Hilary wants Jill by her side for this one.
Bridesmaid
Though she hasn't been in the Bride's life for as long as the others, the moment Hilary met Cynthia, she felt an instant connection, as if she had been missing her before they'd even met. Cynthia is fierce, devoted, creative, and Most Likely to End Up Sobbing With Hilary Over Fictional Characters. Not only does she mean so much to Hilary, but she has been a longtime friend of the Groom (and wife to the Best Man).
Bridesman
An old soul, Shea is one of the Bride's oldest and closest friends. He is introspective, intuitive, loyal, and dependable. Through thick and thin, Shea has always showed up, whether it was to MC ridiculous costume party games, commiserate over work, or explore the infinite intricacies of Dungeons and Dragons or the history of punk rock. Having met through the UL History Department and mutual friends, Hilary and Shea's friendship has developed through karaoke, hardware store woes, big pots of jambalaya, career changes, and rum tastings. Hilary couldn't picture her big day without him.
Best Man
Andrew has been by my side, through thick and thin, for as long as I can remember. For the some 30 odd years I've known him, he's always been my best friend. We have our fair share of stories to tell and you can bet we'll both end up in tears laughing about them before too long. Andrew is as good a man as they come.
Groomsman
Chris has been like a big brother to me, ever since we met in High School. We bonded through playing D&D and have been friends ever since. His humor, support, and kindness has helped bring joy to myself and others when we need it most. Chris has not been like a big brother to me, now that I think about it. He IS my big brother, and I love him like family.
Groomsman
I've known Jeffery for quite a few years now. He's one of the most helpful people I've ever met. Whether it's volunteering, teaching, or just cause he didn't want to spend a Saturday morning at home. Jeffery has a drive to help others that is unmatched. We've grown closer in the recent years and he's become an indispensable friend.
Groomsman
Ladd is someone I've leaned on more than once, and has always been there for me. I can't imagine not knowing his wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and creative campaigns. He is truly a good man, and I'm proud to have him stand with me as I begin this next chapter.
Groomsman
Collin and I met in our first years of High School and we've been friends ever since. He has always been someone to offer to help when they can, whether a few words of encouragement or a days worth of work. He is someone I know I can always count on. I'm excited for him to be with me as I begin this next chapter of my life.
