Best Friends Animal Society
Come see why we moved across the country to the middle of the Utah desert. There are free tours running all day long (more information on these will be provided in your visitors bags). You may even leave with a new Best Friend! Note: the only way to really see the sanctuary is through one of our tours, so definitely take advantage if you have the time.
Zion National Park
Our favorite National Park, and only an hour away from Kanab! There are countless hikes at all skill levels, and a shuttle at the main entrance to bring you around.
Grand Canyon- North Rim
Just as beautiful as it's more popular side, but with cooler weather and far less crowds, the North Rim is one of our favorite summer escapes at just an hour drive away. Be sure to stop at the Jacob Lake Inn on the way for the best cookies of your life!
Bryce Canyon National Park
Visit Bryce Canyon's world famous hoodoos and feel like you just stepped onto another planet.

We're mentioning Antelope Canyon specifically, but Utah (and Arizona) are known for their amazing slot canyons. Kanab is home to countless guided tour outfitters that will gladly customize your day's adventures so wherever and whatever you'd like to explore.
