We met in 2011 in college at Stevens Point. We lived in the same dorm and quickly became friends. In 2015, our friendship became so much more. Tim's work as a wildland firefighter and Kamie's Physician Assistant school pulled us in separate directions, but the distance only fueled our flame. When we aren't apart, we like to spend our time cooking together and traveling to places like Yellowstone National Park, the Smokey Mountains, Virginia Beach, exploring the Oregon coast, and Jamaica. Most recently, we moved to Reno, Nevada to start our careers together. We also adopted an adorable puppy, named Riley, who quickly stole our hearts. We continue to find adventure in our lives and travel back to Wisco as often as possible.

Tim formulated an elaborate plan conveniently while I was in South Africa. Once he picked me up from the airport, we drove to the Museum of Science and Industry and met with the CEO, David Mosena, and his secretary, Eileen, who invited us to a beautiful lunch in the presidential office overlooking the museum on one side and a picturesque view of lake Michigan on the other. Just before dessert, Tim grabbed my hand and proposed to a very surprised girlfriend. After countless tears of joy and an elated "yes," we explored all the exhibits the museum had to offer until it was time to close. The surprises didn't end there. I absolutely love popcorn and on our way to the hotel, we stopped at a popcorn lovers paradise; Garrett Popcorn. Then, while checking into the hotel the final surprise was revealed when I found the dress that Tim (with the help of my best friend, Alex) had packed. We got all gussied up and went to Navy Pier where Tim had reservations for a dinner cruise in the bay, overlooking the skyline of downtown Chicago. It was a night we will never forget!
