We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was my first night class of college, it was on Tuesdays. This is a night I will never forget. I was walking from my dorm to the Fine Arts Building at West Texas A&M University. It was the first time I was walking into this building and was so nervous because I had no idea where I was going. I was showing up to class 30 minutes early so I could find the classroom. I walked through the doors and kept walking straight until I looked to the left and there was my classroom. I reached to open the door and went to pull it back, but it was locked. In front of me was a little lobby where I decided I was going to sit. I went and sat down at a table and looked up and saw a guy sitting in front of me. I could feel my heart start to beat a little faster and felt my cheeks begin to turn red. I looked back down at my phone and would look up for a split second to look at him. I never said anything. I then saw that the door was unlocked and I could go into my classroom. Well it just so happened that the guy sitting in front of me was going to the same class. Of course we were the only ones who walked into the classroom. We were both 20 minutes early. I decided to make a move and I said “is it okay if I sit next to you, I don’t really like to sit by myself.” I introduced myself and he said “hi I’m Jakob.” We didn’t talk much that class. I remember walking back to my dorm and telling my room mate that there was a really cute guy in my class. I didn’t see Jakob until the next week, when I realized I forgot my project. I asked Jakob if he could please carry in my Starbucks drinks so I could run to my dorm and grab my project. When I got back he had set my drink next to him. We ended up talking a majority of the class and I gave him my Snapchat and he gave my his. Yes we did not get each other’s numbers to start with. That night we ended up walking back to the dorms together and even went on a little walk before going back to our dorms. I knew Jakob was a special guy!

The first time I laid eyes on my future wife was way back to freshman year of college. It was the first week of classes and I so happened to have a night class. Upon arrival I was one of the few overachievers who arrived early for class. Soon after, I noticed a pretty girl who sat across the hall from me. The door was locked so we were unable to enter the classroom. Later we were let into the classroom and we were the first two in the classroom. She then spoke to me and asked if it was fine that she sat at the same table as I, even though there were plenty of other places to sit, but the gentleman in me of course said yes. I mean who would turn down a opportunity like that! We then were introduced to each other. We chatted for a while in class until class was over. After class we left and went on our ways. The next week we both were early to class again and she walked in and sat across the hall from me again, this time with her normal Starbucks. Upon noticing that I brought my project and she did not, she immediately jumped to her feet and asked me to take her stuff in because she forgot her project in her dorm room. I said yes like always. As she ran off, the teacher arrived and let me into the classroom. In doing so I grabbed her belongings and without a second thought I placed it in the same seat right next to me. From then on we began texting and later went for a walk outside together. After our walk we went our ways again and from that time forward we were inseparable!
