FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Alaskan semi-formal We’d love for everyone to look nice, but stay comfortable and true to you! No need for anything overly fancy. For more inspiration and help, look at the “Dress Attire Inspo” page! Earth tones are encouraged - think burgundy, greens, browns, mauves.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors in true Alaskan fashion. Keep in mind there will be grass and weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend wearing appropriate shoes and bringing layers. We will have umbrellas available in case it decides to rain! The reception will also be outdoors as well, but under a pavilion.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as possible! However, the deadline to RSVP is July 20, 2026 If we don’t receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as Will Not Attend. We need to provide our venue with a total headcount in a timely manner, we hope you can understand!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00 PM. We ask that you arrive at 4:30 to ensure we don’t have surprise guests down the aisle!

Question

What’s the bar situation?

Answer

We will be having an open bar for those who wish to drink! Mocktails and non-alcoholic options will also be available. Cash tips are encouraged for our wonderful, local bartender!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. Guest names will be specifically stated on the invitation as well as the RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that only the named guests on the RSVP are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

RSVPs will be specific and will include the names of any additional child who is invited.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer that will be capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!
