When we met, we were both a little lost — two people trying to find our footing, figure out who we were, and what we wanted from life. Neither of us knew it then, but we were about to meet the person who would change everything. Our story officially began with a match on Hinge. We bonded instantly over our shared love of sports, and after a few easy conversations, we decided to meet for lunch. The funny part? One of us almost didn’t go. There was some hesitation that morning, but thankfully, fate had other plans. That simple lunch date turned into something magical. The conversation flowed so naturally that we didn’t want the day to end — so we kept it going. Lunch turned into ice cream, then a competitive game of mini golf (MaKayla won), and finally dinner. Four dates in one day, and neither of us wanted to say goodnight. Three years later, we’re still laughing, still adventuring, and still each other’s favorite teammate.
