We first met through the Summer Bridge Program at McLennan Community College for first-generation college students. What began as a simple friendship quickly became something neither of us expected. Makayla's outgoing spirit brought Camden out of his shell, while Camden's steady, calm nature grounded Makayla. From the start, we brought out the best in one another & on 2/19, we made it official—and life has never been the same. Through every season, we have celebrated victories, supported one another through challenges, & encouraged each other to chase our dreams. Together, we earned our bachelor's degrees and continue cheering each other on as we build our future. On 5/19, Camden proposed at Disney California Adventure in Cars Land. For Makayla, a lifelong Disney fan whose favorite movie has always been Cars, it was a dream come true and a memory we will treasure forever. Now, we are overjoyed to begin our next chapter as husband & wife on 1/9, completing our special circle of "19" dates. We cannot wait to celebrate the love we've built & the future ahead with the people we love most.
