Nick is Alex’s cousin and they are less than a year apart in age. He is currently a manager at an outdoors outfitter. He loves spending time outside, he loves sports and enjoys spending time with his family and friends! The groom’s favorite memory with Nick was when they went go karting on vacation in Tennessee!

Maya is the bride’s youngest sister ! The bride’s favorite memories of Maya is when she gets to help her get ready for things like dances and musicals! She is currently a junior at Watkins Memorial High School and currently works at Chick-fil-A. Some hobbies that she enjoys in her spare time are painting, singing, running track, shopping and hanging out with friends. Another fun fact is that she participates in her school’s theater!!
Xavier Ortiz

Xavier is the bride’s cousin and best friend. Xavier and Makayla are only a month apart so they grew up together pretty much as siblings ! Xavier is currently enrolled at Columbus State College majoring in psychology. Some fun facts about him is that in high school he studied two languages at the same time, his favorite color is blue, he loves spending time with friends and he loves singing any song by SZA !
Abbie Richards

Abbie and Makayla have been friends for almost 10 years !! Some of Makayla’s favorite memories with her is when they practically lived together during the first few months of COVID lockdown! She is currently in college studying to become a dental hygienist. Fun fact about Abbie is that she likes reading and LOVES Taylor Swift.
Jacob Dotson

Jacob (also goes by big bird) is the groom’s brother. He is a graduate from Watkins Memorial High School and is currently working as a lawn care technician. He likes birds, dogs and hanging out with friends. Some of the groom’s favorite memories with Jacob were hanging out at their grandmas and when they would work on projects such as working on Alex’s car.
Maddy Gundler

Maddy and Makayla met in the 6th grade and ran cross country together for four years ! The bride’s favorite memories with Maddy are all of the fun summers they spent together and when they did cross country together! She is currently a Senior at Bridgewater college in Virginia and is studying health and exercise science. She loves swimming and is on the swim team at her school.
Kenneth Rase

Kenneth is Alex’s stepbrother. They grew up together and spent most of their time staying up late and playing video games together! He is currently a Territory Manager at Nationwide Financial and is also studying for his FINRA license. His hobbies include spending time with his girlfriend, going on walks with his dog and focusing on fitness and health!
Anam Mohamed

Anam is a family friend of the bride but is more like another little sister to her! Makayla’s favorite memories with Anam are when they would go on late night store runs and when they used to go to the Easton Mall a lot !! Anam is a sophomore at Watkins Memorial High School. She is also on the basketball team at her school!
Ava-Marie Ortiz

Ava-Marie is a cousin to the bride, but is more like another younger sister. Some of the bride’s favorite memories with Ava is the countless sleepovers that they have had! The bride actually added the junior bride’s roles to include Ava and Anam because she absolutely could not have a wedding without them being in it ! Ava is a junior at Watkins Memorial High School. She is in the choral program and track and field team at her school !
