Aeden and Makayla first met during their junior year at UCM while they were both studying Design & Drafting. Makayla was waiting in the hallway for her next class to begin when Aeden walked by on his way to his tutoring job. Since it was a small program and he didn’t recognize her, Aeden stopped to introduce himself. He likes to say he won Makayla over by talking about the weather—though Makayla disagrees. After college, both Aeden and Makayla found themselves working at Burns & McDonnell. In their free time, they enjoy watching movies and TV shows together, playing pickleball, golfing, spending time with their dog Goose, and making memories with friends and family. After four years together, Aeden proposed on May 31, 2025. Makayla was surprised—but immediately said “yes.” They’re so excited to get married and spend the rest of their lives together.
