If you're up for some outdoor antics, head into Point Reyes National Seashore! Start your journey at the 1870 Point Reyes Lighthouse. Brace yourself for some steep steps and the windiest spot on the Pacific Coast. Don't skip the South Beach Overlook near the lighthouse parking lot for a view that stretches 'til forever. Want to keep going? Drive a short ways to Chimney Rock Trailhead (1.8 miles) for views of Drakes Beach. At this point you might as well swing by the Elephant Seal Overlook (.4 miles) for a peek at some fat, loud seals. On your way out, make a quick pit stop at the Cypress Tree Tunnel.
