Things To Do

Make the most of your time in Minnesota! Here are a few of our favorite recommendations for activities in the Twin Cities area.
Minnehaha Falls

Minnehaha Falls

4801 South Minnehaha Park Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417

The Minnehaha park is really big with lots of cool trails to follow. There is a waterfall in the park that freezes over in the winter! A very peaceful place to spend an afternoon.

The arboretum is a beautiful place to visit, whether it is sunny or raining. Tickets are 15$ a person but there is plenty to see!

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Free zoo and conservatory. The conservatory is very beautiful!

Paisley Park

Paisley Park

7801 Audubon Road, Chanhassen, MN 55317
, (952) 495-6750

Prince's former home, now a museum. See Prince's various studios, offices, clothes, guitars, pianos, and stage props. If you have the time, this is a very cool place to go.

Blue Door Pub Longfellow

Blue Door Pub Longfellow

3448 42nd Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55406
, (612) 315-2470

This restaurant has unique juicy lucys (burgers stuffed with cheese, yum!). Try their latin kisses. They are super delicious!

Pizzeria Lola

Pizzeria Lola

5557 Xerxes Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55410
, (612) 424-8338

This is some of the best pizza in Minnesota. They might only do takeout with the pandemic going on, but it is worth it! You can even try their sister restaurant, Young Joni, also in Minneapolis. Patrick's favorite pizza is the Hawaii Pie-O. Makala's favorite is the Iowan. La Creme is a delicious classic.

Bravis Modern Street Food

Bravis Modern Street Food

105 Lewis Street South, Shakopee, MN 55379
, (952) 417-6182

If street tacos are what you crave, this is THE place to go (try the birria tacos!). It may be far from the cities but it is well worth it. Maybe stop by for a bite before the wedding! They also have pineapple bowls and some of the best horchata. A must eat.

Origami Restaurant

Origami Restaurant

1354 Lagoon Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55408
, (612) 223-8666

Near some of Minneapolis' night life, you can grab some sushi and cocktails. From sashimi and nigiri to specialties rolls, this place is pretty great!

Mall of America

Mall of America

60 East Broadway, Bloomington, MN 55425

Biggest mall in the United States. Not all too different from other malls. There is an amusement park in the center and an aquarium in the basement. There are also several restaurants to choose from if you want a quick bite before your flight!
