Andrew and Makaela first met in middle school when Makaela was in the 7th grade and Andrew was in the 8th grade. They were friends but not much interaction happened between the two until high school. The two of them became friends with the same group and they'd spend their days playing Call of Duty on Xbox 360. Hours upon hours were spent between the two laughing and playing video games. Andrew had mentioned to Makaela he liked her during this time but instead of dating, decided to remain bestfriends rather than dating one another. Years passed, they both graduated, and they both went different ways but Andrew would always check in with Makaela to see how she was and let her know if she ever wanted to play games, he was down. In 2018, Andrew and Makaela crossed paths again by hanging out with the same group of friends and the never ending nights of gaming began all over again like no time had passed. During that time, Makaelas grandpa was very sick and was getting ready to pass after a long battle with prostate cancer. Andrew was there through it all. He would make time to check on her, keep her spirits up, and make sure she knew that he was there if she needed anything. Finally, Andrew announced he never stopped liking Makaela and wanted to be with her. Makaela finally came around and realized the great guy she had in front of her all these years and took a chance. The rest is history. They chose to never spend another day apart and quickly fell for one another. The fairytale Makaela always dreamt of was finally coming true and Andrew scored his dream girl. As of October 8th of 2022, they have been engaged and are excited for the next chapter as husband and wife!
