This location holds special meaning for us, as it is the site of our proposal. Situated along the Columbia River Gorge, approximately one hour from the venue, it offers a beautiful view that made it the perfect setting for the occasion. Pittock Mansion
For guests interested in exploring more of the city, we recommend a visit to Pittock Mansion, a beautifully preserved historic estate offering panoramic views of the Portland skyline and, on clear days, Mount Hood. Approximately a 30-40 minute drive from the venue, the mansion's gardens and grounds are open to the public free of charge, with guided and self-guided tours available for those wishing to view the interior.
Downtown Waterfront
If you find yourself with some free time in the city, this stretch along the Willamette River is a lovely place to walk, relax, or just take in the views of downtown Portland. It's close to restaurants, shops, and the Saturday Market, making it an easy stop for anyone wanting to explore a bit more of the city during the visit.
