Please RSVP by October 1st, 2024
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible and also has handicap parking available!
Children are allowed! We ask that you keep an eye on your children at all times and make sure they are behaving. We will have some more modern music (nothing terribly inappropriate but there may be some curse words) playing a little later in the evening, so if this is something you do not want to be around or do not want your children around, this is us letting you know.
Yes, there is parking just across the street from the venue and handicapped parking right next to the venue.
The ceremony will be outdoor (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoor.
We do not have any hotel blocks, but we did have a list of hotels that are located in Evansville, which is about 30 minutes from the venue.
There is no specific dress code. Semi-formal and dressy casual are just fine. Family-friendly is important as there will be children present! Keep in mind that it is October and part of the wedding will be outside weather permitting.
We will have BBQ pork and ribs for our main meal with a couple of sides and bread. We will also have some desserts present as well.
The bar will be a cash bar. Prices for any drinks are below. We ask that you please drink responsibly and have a plan for leaving the venue safely. No outside alcohol will be allowed on the premises. There will be security present and you will be asked to leave if problems arise. $3 for domestic beer $4 for glass of wine $5 for mixed drink or shot $2 for soda
There is a link at the top of this page that will take you directly to our registry page. This page includes links to all the places in which we have registered. For each of those links, it will have our information on where to send it or you may bring it with you. Gifts are definitely not required but appreciated greatly!
Our ceremony will start at 3:00pm so we ask that you arrive about 30 minutes early if you are planning to be there for the ceremony so you are able to find your seat and we are able to have an uninterrupted ceremony.
We are having an unplugged ceremony so cellphone photography will not be allowed. We have multiple photographers capturing our day from multiple perspectives and we do not want cell phones in those pictures. We also want our friends and family to be able to enjoy the ceremony without having to worry about getting the perfect picture. During the reception you can take as many pictures as you want to!
The reception will be ending at 9:00 pm. You are not required to stay the whole time. We do not have plans for an after-party as of now.
Absolutely! If you click on the link above that says "Things to do" you will find a whole list of activities (some for just adults and some family-friendly) as well as some of our favorite restaurants.
We ask that you do not post any pictures or anything pertaining to the wedding until we have been able to post about it ourselves. We would like to be the first ones to share the big news with everyone who was not able to attend. After that, you are more than welcome to post whatever pictures you may have taken! If you could share those pictures with us personally, that would be great!
You can contact the bride, groom, any of the immediate family or bridal party for questions. If they do not know the answer, they will ask the bride and groom and let you know as soon as they know, or the bride and groom will contact you personally. We will make sure all questions are answered in a timely manner.
