Question

Is ceremony and party at the same location?

Answer

Yes! As people arrive at the venue there will be time to find your seat inside the tent and leave any clothes or bags. There will be drinks and mingle until eventually we will go to the adjacent open field where the ceremony will take place. Dinner and live band will take place inside the tent.

Will everything be in English?

Answer

No, for example: Dinner menus will be printed out for each table, which will be written in English, Swedish and Croatian.

I want to make a speech, does it have to be in English?

Answer

No, you are free to share your thoughts in whatever language you feel most comfortable with. It would be good if at least Erik or Maja can understand you =) If you wish to make a speech or similar, get in touch with our friend and contact person Dora who will then schedule you a time slot. Any preferences for wedding gifts?

Answer

We prefer to keep it according to Croatian tradition, where a kind donation to cover the wedding costs is welcomed. However, we also acknowledge that traveling from far away is a gift in itself.

How to get from central Slavonski Brod to the venue and back?

Answer

There are taxis in town, we will update this webpage with phone numbers and details. We also welcome guests with spare seats in their cars to let us know and we can link you with individuals who need a lift.

Nearest airport?

Answer

We recommend Zagreb airport since it's a convenient 2h motorway ride straight to Slavonski Brod from there. Either by bus (Flixbus, Arriva) or rent a car at the airport.
