FAQs

Question

If I am coming from out of town and cannot leave my children behind, can I still come?

Answer

Maiya and Travis have made provisions during the ceremony and reception for out of town guests in the event they cannot leave their children at home. If you have not previously spoken with us, please contact Maiya and Travis.

Question

Is the reception being held inside or outside?

Answer

Ray and Lezlie Gomez have graciously offered to host the reception in their spacious backyard. Bathrooms will be available. Keep in mind Yuma weather is sometimes unpredictable, but tends to be warmer in the springtime. Please plan accordingly.

Question

What if I can only come to the ceremony or the reception, not both?

Answer

Please indicate on your RSVP or let Maiya or Travis know by the RSVP deadline, March 6th.

Question

Why is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a time gap between the events in order for the designated crew to clean up the ceremony and set up the reception.

Question

Why are we being so strict about guest list?

Answer

If your invitation indicates there is only 2 seats being reserved for you and your significant other, please bear with us for this one weekend of celebration. We have limited seating as our venue is on the smaller side. We would really appreciate joyful day of celebration with our lovely guests without the stress of finding extra chairs, favors and the likes!

Question

WILL THERE BE FREE BOOZE?

Answer

YES! Though we cannot offer a full open bar, beer, wine, and a few signature cocktails will be available to our guests.

Question

If I am coming from out of town, can't you just pick me up at the airport?

Answer

Due to time constraints within our schedules, Travis and Maiya will be unavailable to pick up any of our out of town guests. To make the weekend as seamless as possible, renting a car would be in all of our guests best interest if they are flying in from out of state.
