Maiya and Deja met 11 years ago singing in the youth choir at church. Neither one really knew of the other, all they knew was that they both were in the alto section of the choir. Their relationship grew closer when working together for the annual Youth Day. From that moment on they have been inseparable. For 10 years they continued doing life together; from moving in to graduating college. In May 2022, in front of family and some of their close friends, Deja asked Maiya to marry her. Of course she said, "YES!" Both Maiya and Deja cannot wait to spend their special day celebrating their love with loved ones.
