A Holud ceremony is a vibrant, traditional Bengali pre-wedding ritual where a turmeric-based paste is applied to the bride and groom's skin by family and friends to bless them with good fortune and glowing skin for their wedding day, celebrated with music, dancing, & feasting. It's a joyous cultural event symbolizing blessings, featuring colorful attire and dance performances. We urge all our guests to come in colorful South Asian attire to be a part of the celebration. Traditionally, Holud colors are yellow, gold, and orange, but you can wear any color.
Please plan to arrive at 4:30 PM. The event will begin promptly at 4:45 PM. To ensure a peaceful ceremony for everyone, we kindly ask that guests arrive on time. Once the ceremony begins, entry will not be permitted.

The entire wedding day will take place at a private venue called the Tuscan Estate, located inside Monserate Winery. Watch for signage directing you to the wedding as there are multiple venues on-site.
Holud Venue: The venue has free valet and free self parking. Please utilize the valet as it is free! Wedding Venue: The venue has free self parking available and overnight parking is allowed. Since there will be an open bar, we do encourage you to Uber/Lyft for a safe and responsible (& fun) night! Please consider scheduling your ride ahead of time, as they are limited in Fallbrook. Please also be aware that the roads leading to Monserate are winding.
We love your little ones, however this is a mostly adults-only event with the exception of children close to the wedding party. Please check your paper invitation or digital text to confirm if your kid is invited. We appreciate you for making arrangements ahead of time.
Due to both venue capacities, our guest list is strictly invite-only and limited to those formally listed on your invitation. There are no plus ones. Thank you for understanding!
Holud Venue: Indoor ballroom Wedding Venue: The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in a lakeside and villa setting, while the cocktail hour will be hosted indoors. In any case of inclement weather, the show will go on! We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl regardless as it can get chilly at night.
Our ceremony will be unplugged. We are so excited that you'll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present during. We have a wonderful photographer who will capture every moment, and we'll make sure to share those photos as soon as we can! With this in mind, we kindly ask our guests to stow all electronic devices on silent during the ceremony. But after? Please be our guest. Please do not bring your professional cameras as we have photographers capturing the event.
Please refer to the "registry" tab. We are having no box gifts. An envelope box will be available at the wedding as well.
