When should I RSVP by?

Can I smoke or vape at the venue?

Answer

The venue unfortunately do not allow any smoking or vaping within their grounds, including the courtyard and the Physic Garden. If you'd like a smoking break, please do so outside the main doors of the venue, on Queen Street.

Wedding Gifts

Answer

Your presence is a present in itself. If you would like to show your love through a wedding gift, we would appreciate any montary contribution towards our honeymoon. Is there a dress code?

There are some dress code ideas on the website that will hopefully spark some inspiration. Please avoid wearing a white dress, thanks.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding as we would like to keep the guest list who know us well. The name of every guest invited is clearly written on your envelope and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There is a section on the website with hotels that are near the venue. Take advantage of the little discount that our venue has offered!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please state any diertary requirements when you RSVP. This will be accommodated.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue does not have any private parking available. On-street metered parking is available on Queen Street at the cost of £5.60 per hour, and Q-Park OMNI is a 10-minute walk away.

Is there public transport to the venue?

Answer

Waverley Train Station is the closest train station, located less than half a mile to the venue. There are several bus stops close by, and St. Andrews Square is the closest tram stop.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos ar your wedding?

Answer

We are keeping our ceremony "unplugged". As such, please refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. Otherwise, please take lots of photos and videos during the reception and evening and we'd love to see them afterwards.

Can I post photos or videos on social media?

Answer

We'd love if you hold your photos and videos until after we've posted.
