Jackie and Drew are technically college sweethearts. Although the romance part didn't quite kick in until after college. The couple first met at CNU and were just friends for many years. It wasn't until December of 2022 that they ran back into each other and thought this could be something more. Knowing that Jackie was a little smitten after that first run in with Drew, Colin, a close friend of the bride and groom, stepped in as wingman. Colin planned a surprise set up at Millie's which led to a group hangout at the couple's now favorite brewery spot, Vasen. Drew and Jackie spent hours catching up about their lives and who'd they'd become. Jackie's best friend Holly was celebrating her birthday that night and realizing Jackie didn't want the conversation to end at Vasen, Holly told Drew he should come. (Special thank you to Holly!) That night, as Drew and Jackie were walking across the street to head to the bar, he grabbed her hand, pulled her close and they shared their first kiss. Since that moment they've spent only a few days apart. It didn't take long for them to know this was going to be forever. So when Drew proposed on March 19th, 2024 Jackie instantly said yes (after covering her mouth, crying, and saying omg a few times). Drew and Jackie have spent their relationship going to concerts, cooking dinner together, ordering late night Taco Bell, drinking many espresso martinis, and so much more. They are truly each other's best friend and can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
