We're getting married!

We first crossed paths at the 41st Four-Ball Championship while Maili was interning for the Louisiana Golf Association. She remembers seeing Kyle out on the course but wasn’t exactly sure which one he was between him and his brother, Brady. All she knew was that one of them was SMEXY. From then on, Kyle became known around the office as “Ryan’s hot roommate,” and that was about it for a while. Fast forward to the Louisiana Amateur, when Kyle decided to take his shirt off in front of everyone for some reason. It definitely caught Maili’s attention. A week later, she had to interview him after he qualified for the U.S. Amateur, which was the first time we actually talked one-on-one. A few months later, Maili realized Kyle had won the LGA Men’s Player of the Year and that we shared the same birthday. After texting a mutual friend about it, fate kind of took over. Kyle got her number to send a photo for his Player of the Year graphic and texted her on October 23, 2023 — and that’s how it all began. We went from texting, to late-night FaceTimes, to finally meeting up for our first date on November 4, 2023. We grabbed burgers, played nine holes of golf (with very few birdies and therefore very few kisses), and somehow ended up meeting Kyle’s entire family that same night. A week later, Kyle officially asked Maili to be his girlfriend with a note tucked in the pocket of a hoodie he brought her. Since then, life has been full of laughter, golf, ice cream dates, late-night talks, and the kind of love that feels really easy. On June 2, 2025, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Maili to marry him — and of course, she said yes. We can’t wait to start this next chapter together and are so thankful to have all of you here to celebrate with us. 💍
