We met the way all great love stories begin: at a college pool party… with Allbry already a couple of beers in. We were both student-athletes at Arizona State, and although Mailey had heard plenty about him, she had never actually seen him before. Once she finally connected the name to the very real (and surprisingly charming) person standing in front of her, let’s just say she wasn’t disappointed. They started talking and hit it off almost immediately - probably because they each thought the other was hilarious. Between the jokes and their shared love for sports, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Mailey likes to think it was love at first sight, but if you ask Allbry, he’ll tell you the real moment he fell: the day he went to Mailey’s apartment and met Little Man. Yes, the second he laid eyes on her little orange cat, it was over. Completely smitten. According to Allbry, the cat was the real catch - and they still joke that if it wasn’t for Little Man, who knows where they’d be. (Though everyone agrees Allbry would’ve stuck around anyway; Little Man just sped things up and left a permanent mark on their hearts.) From there, life unfolded naturally. They supported each other through college, celebrated every small win, survived the chaos of early adulthood, and built their first home - and lives - together. And now, all these years later, their story continues with a love built on laughter, support, and shared memories. With full hearts and excitement for what’s ahead, they continue choosing each other every single day.
